1. Initial Phone Review – I want to get to know you, understand what you are looking for and why. I learned a long time ago, if you don’t have a big enough WHY you probably won’t do what it takes to be a business owner. I will explain the steps we will go through together to help YOU figure out what you really want. If you were to close your eyes and pick the perfect business, what does that look like? I will help you figure that out.
2. Complete the Personal Confidential Questionnaire (PCQ) – This questionnaire will get you started thinking about being a business owner – but this is just the first step in opening your eyes to the possibilities of what is ahead of you. I will also ask for some balance sheet type of numbers, as the saying goes, I can’t go hunting with an empty gun. I don’t want you to get all excited about a business opportunity that you can’t afford. I need to know what you have to work with and together we will decide what you are willing to invest. Most franchise companies invests range from around $50,000 – 250,000 and up. Our sweet spot is about $150,000 average.
3. Take the HeatMap Test – Discover your franchise aptitude – this is a very unique test that helps me to understand your strengths. I want to make sure I find the “perfect” business for YOU.
4. Personal Consultation – I will spend about 2 hours with you and your partner learning more about what you like and sometimes I have found it is more important to discover what you don’t like. Together we will decide exactly the characteristics that you want in your business.
5. Investigate Companies – I will hold your hand through the whole process of doing your due diligence, getting you ready for your calls with my A+ franchise companies. This is where most people run away and made decisions based on assumptions, not facts. Don’t let your friends and family spoil your dreams. I will hold your hand and make sure you get all of your questions answered. Being a business owner is a wonderful experience and it is so much safer when you have an A+ franchise company behind you. Remember, they are your partners – if you are not successful they are not successful. It has to be a win-win.
6. Decision – Congratulations! You have been awarded a franchise! Yes I did say awarded, not purchased. Lots of people think that they can just write a check. Well, not with my A+ companies you can’t. That is why they are A+ – because they have a selection process to make sure that you are the right match for their company.
